Jaime Nichols graduated from Moriah Central School in 1997, and Plattsburgh State with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education in 2002 and an Master of Science in special education in 2005.

James Nichols graduated from Peru High School in 1997 and Plattsburgh State, with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education in 2002 and an Master of Science in special education in 2005.
He is employed by Peru Central School District.
After a wedding trip to Quebec City, the couple resides in Plattsburgh.
