Don and Gloria Cheek of Auburndale announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Cheek, to Stephen Ziff, son of Richard and Jan Ziff of Cooper City.

The bride-to-be graduated from University of Central Florida with a business finance degree and is employed as a Mutual Funds Transfer Agent for Investors Bank and Trust in Boston.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from University of Central Florida with a marketing degree and is the manager of concept development at Alloy Marketing & Promotions in Boston.

An Aug. 28, 2004, wedding is planned.
