She obtained her bachelor's degree in nutrition from Florida State University and then graduated from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences where she earned her master's degree in physical therapy.
She is employed at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
The prospective bridegroom has lived in Boiling Springs for 35 years.
He graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 1987 and then from Spartanburg Technical College where he earned an associate's degree.
He is a junior varsity baseball coach for Boiling Springs High School.
He is employed at Bommer Industries in Landrum, S.C.
A July 31, 2004, wedding is planned at Spiegel Farms in Campobello, S.C.
