Patricia Zilcosky of Winter Haven announces the engagement of her daughter, Danay Zilcosky of Winter Haven to Rodney Harvey of Newberry, son of Gerald and Janice Harvey of Newberry.

The bride-elect has lived in Winter Haven for 18 years. She graduated from Winter Haven High school in 2000 and then from Polk Community College in 2001 where she earned an associate's degree in Business. She is currently attending University of Florida. She is a member of Jonesville Baptist Church in Jonesville. She is employed at Petsmart in Gainesville.

The prospective bridegroom has lived in Newberry for 21 years. He graduated from Newberry High School in 1995. He is a member of Jonesville Baptist Church. He is employed at Lancaster Correctional Institution in Trenton.

A Sept. 4, 2004, wedding is planned at Jonesville Baptist Church.
