Mrs. and Mrs. Thomas S. Rice of Winter Haven and Rev. and Mrs. Timothy S. Stewart of Punta Gorda, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Alane Stewart of Orlando to Jim McKinnon Serrano of Orlando, son of Dr. and Mrs. Louis J. Serrano of Winston-Salem, N.C.
The bride-elect graduated from Lake Region High School in 1998 and is currently employed at Ciseaux Hair Studio in Altamonte Springs.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from Bloomfield College in 1988 where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
He is currently employed by Home Banc Mortgage Corp. in Orlando.
The couple are members of Church in the Son in Orlando.
A March 7, 2004 wedding is planned at The Veranda of Orlando.
