Shefflers celebrate 50th anniversary
Bob and "Frankie" Sheffler of Winter Haven celebrated their 50th anniversary with a reception at the Lake Region Yacht & Country Club on Nov. 29.
The reception was hosted by their children, Robert Sheffler Jr., of Winter Haven and Belinda Murphy and Valerie Walsh, both of Auburndale.
The Shefflers were married Dec. 2, 1953, at the Base Chapel at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
They have six grandchildren.
Bob retired after working for several automobile dealerships and having his own automotive business.
Frankie retired from the Regional Office of State Farm Insurance Companies.
Both are active members of the Central Church of Christ in Winter Haven.
