She graduated from Lake Placid High School in 1992 and then from Polk Community College where she earned an associate's degree in nursing.
She is a registered nurse and is a member of Emergency Nurses Association.
She is a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Lake Placid. She is employed at Suncoast Hospital Emergency Room in Largo as a registered nurse.
The prospective bridegroom was raised in Winter Haven and has lived in Tampa for four years.
He graduated from Winter Haven High school in 1981 and then from Florida Southern College, where he received his bachelor's degree in accounting and earned his MBA from Nova Southeastern.
He is a member of Institute of Management Accountants.
He is a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale.
He is employed at Hit Promotional Products as a cost analyst accountant.
A December wedding is planned at Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake Placid.
