Wolfe - 50th
Harry R. and Romona M. Wolfe of Brighton Township celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2001 at a picnic with their family and friends in Vanport Township.
They were married June 21, 1951, in Vanport on the lawn at the home of Verl Peters, the bride's maternal grandmother.
The Rev. Clifford Headland, the bride's cousin, officiated.
Mrs. Wolfe is the daughter of the late Ray and Kit Diamond.
She is retired from the Beaver County Fruit Co. in Beaver Falls with 10 years' service.
Her husband is the son of the late James and Zella Wolfe.
He is also retired from the Beaver County Fruit Co. with 11 years' service and from the former Valley Wholesale Grocery Co. in Darlington with 33 years' service.
Both work for the Royal York Auction Gallery in Pittsburgh.
Their children and children's spouses are Heather and Matthew Ballin of Beaver; Harry Robert and Marilyn Wolfe of Farmdale, Ohio; Verla and Gene Rose of Bridgewater; and Debra and John Gula of Cortland, Ohio.
They have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
