Jeneice E. Eaton and Dennis L. Johnson were united in marriage at 4 o'clock in the afternoon on July 20, 2002, at Nora Mayo Hall's Florida Room in Winter Haven.
The bride is the daughter of James Eaton of Rochester, N.Y., and Donald and Peggy Kurns of Bartow. The groom is the son of Katie Mae Johnson of Haines City and Leo and Freida Johnson of Oviedo.
The Rev. Dan J. Clemons officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, James Eaton. The matron of honor was Sabrina Rogers and the maid of honor was Kathleen Kort. Serving as bridesmaids were Diann Calhoun, Tressie Campbell, Tasha Harris, Clemmie London and Melissa Sermons.
Serving as best men were Algernon White and Albert Grissett. The groomsmen were Terrell Eaton, Donald Johnson, Donald Kurns, James Sermons and Sammy Soto.
The flower girls were Vontayvia Rogers and Khadija White. The ring bearer was Keeshawn Eaton and the bell ringer was Sha'Nerika Feacher.
The family received guests at Nora Mayo Hall in Winter Haven.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas and Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple will live in Clermont. The bride is employed at Winter Haven Hospital Rehabilitation Services. The groom is employed at Walt Disney's Contemporary Resort.
