Woods celebrate 50th
Lester and Lucy Wood of Winter Haven, who were married on Jan. 26, 1952, in Dublin, Ga., recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Lucy is retired from Winter Haven Hospital and Lester from Imperial Polk County.
They formerly resided in Macon, Ga., before coming to Winter Haven.
They have two children, Robert Wood of Winter Haven and Dennis Wood of Port St. Lucie and four grandchildren.
Their children gave them an anniversary celebration at Christian Heritage Baptist Church Saturday.
