Wedding: Maze-Hedges
Amanda Maze and Robert L. Hedges Jr. were united in marriage in an evening ceremony on April 21, 2001, at St. John's United Methodist Church in Winter Haven.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis Maze of Lake Alfred and Cindy Maze of Winter Haven. The groom is the son of Robert and Susan Hedges of Winter Haven.
Rev. Tim Gesicki officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Providing nuptial music for the wedding were vocalists Mickey Merritt and Denise Helms and organist, Joe Jones.
Given in marriage by her father, Dennis Maze, the bride wore a scoop-neck, beaded gown with cathedral train.
Serving as maid of honor was Amanda Golden, the bride's good friend.
Serving as bridesmaids were her sisters Brittany and Kameron Maze, her cousin, Erica Rogers, and her friend Stephanie Waterman.
The flower girl was Charlene Bennet, cousin of the groom.
The attendants wore formal length lavender dresses.
The bride's mother wore a navy blue formal dress.
The groom's mother wore a formal periwinkle dress.
Serving as best man was the groom's friend, Brett Reed.
Serving as ushers/groomsmen were friends, Andy Anderson, J.D. Anderson, Drew Hepler, Aaron Hodges, Gary Schaack and Chad Lennox.
The ring bearer was Caleb Merritt, nephew of the groom.
The family received guests at the Southwest Complex. Lindsey Norris attended the bride's book.
Assisting in hospitalities was the bride's aunt, Cathy Rulli.
After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will continue to live in Winter Haven.
The bride is employed at State Farm Insurance.
The groom is employed by John Roden Pools Inc.
