Couple united in summer ceremony
She is a daughter of Jona Smith and Duane Skeens and Pete and Heidi Smith of Wellsville. He is a son of Larry and Loretta Miller of Glenmoor.
The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore a strapless ivory satin A-line gown with beaded appliques and a flowing lace train. Her satin trimmed ivory veil was secured to a rhinestone flowered tiara. She carried a bouquet of light pink carnations and ivory roses and lilies enhanced with green ivy.
Weslee Polen of Ada, Ohio, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Chris Davis of East Liverpool; Amy Miller, sister of the groom; Richelle Hall of Wellsville; and Laramie Polen of Tiffin, Ohio, cousin of the bride. Elizabeth Kwalik of Wellsville, sister of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. Taylor Plumley of East Liverpool, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
Ronnie Dumoulin of Wellsville, performed the duties of best man. Groom attendants were Staff Sgt. Brent Polen of Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, cousin of the bride; Airman 1st Class Dustin Smith of Mountain Home AFB, brother of the bride; Kenny Delauder of Wellsville; and Tony Cooper of East Liverpool. Kevin Kosko of Wellsville, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the East Liverpool Motor Lodge.
The reception was held at the American Legion on Parkway in East Liverpool.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Wellsville High School and a 2001 graduate of Kent State University, East Liverpool, where she received an associate's degree in legal assisting technology. She is employed at National Real Estate in Chester, working as a settlement agent.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Beaver Local High School and is self-employed as a truck driver.
Following a honeymoon to Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple resides in Calcutta.
