Clipper – 73 years

Mark and Genevieve R. Clipper of Carmichaels celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Clipper were married December 26, 1942, in Ashland, Ky., with the Rev. Milton J. Peters officiating.
Their children are Kerry Alan, Gerald Lee, Sherre Marlene, Deborah Sue, Trina Marie and the late Mark Wayne.
They have 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Clipper have lived in Carmichaels for 25 years.
Mr. Clipper was drafted into the service in 1943 and was discharged on May 30, 1945, after spending five-and-a-half months in the hospital at Camp Atterbury, Ind., from injuries received while fighting in Germany during World War II.
Both retired in 1984 from Gross Furniture Co., Fredericktown.
Mr. Clipper had worked as a furniture salesman and interior decorator, and Mrs. Clipper was his associate.
