LISBON - Amanda Lynn Perkins became the bride of Matthew Charles Ridzon July 10, 2004 at Grace Pentecostal Church in Salem.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Trisha) Gilbert, Mattix Road.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Harriet) Ridzon Sr., New Springfield.
The Rev. Anthony Maroni performed the double-ring ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by organist John Anderson, Tallmadge, Sara Maroni, Leetonia, and Alison Anderson, Tallmadge.
The bride, escorted and given in marriage by Elmo Endicott Sr., wore a white satin gown enhanced by a bolero jacket. The fitted, sequined bodice dropped to a full skirt highlighted with sequined edging.
A wreath-like headpiece accented with three satin rosettes secured her fingertip veil.
She carried a bouquet of roses and carnations.
Jessica Perkins, Lisbon, served as maid of honor in a lavender gown.
Bridesmaids, in silver gowns, were Jamie Gorby, Salem, and Gina Ridzon, New Springfield.
Flower girls were Autumn Ridzon, New Springfield, and Alyssa Lane, Lisbon.
Donald Ridzon Jr., New Springfield, performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Michael Ridzon, New Springfield, and Chalmer Perkins, Lisbon.
Ring bearer was Danny Donahue, Lisbon.
A reception for 250 was held at the Shriners Club in North Lima.
After a honeymoon trip to North Carolina and Pennsylvania, the couple resides in New Springfield.
The bride attended Kent State University Salem and is an assistant manager at Subway.
The groom attended Youngstown State University and is an engineer with Control Systems Manufacturing.
The rehearsal dinner was held at DeRienzo's in Salem.
