Mr. and Mrs. William and Joanne Dydell
Mr. and Mrs. William and Joanne Dydell of Newton Falls were honored for their 50th anniversary with a dinner celebration Sept. 23, 2007, at Roby Lee’s Banquet Center in Newton Falls.
The event was hosted by the couple’s son Ron, daughter-in-law Kathy, and their granddaughter Kellie.
Mr. Dydell and the former Joanne O’Brock were married Oct. 12, 1957 at Champion Christian Church, Warren.
They also have a son Blaine of Newton Falls.
Mr. Dydell retired in 1994 as regional sales manager for Dearborn Brass Co., Tyler, Texas.
He retired in 1977 as a major in the U.S. Army.
He is member of the Masons and enjoys fishing.
Mrs. Dydell has been a homemaker for many years.
She has delivered Meals on Wheels for 22 years and is a member of the Christian Womens Fellowship.
Active members of the First Christian Church in Newton Falls, they also winter in Fort Pierce, Fla., and enjoy traveling, cruising and entertaining family and friends in their homes.
