MR. AND MRS. JOHN AND E. CHARLENE BOUCHER
Mr. and Mrs. John T. Boucher of Southington celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 14, 1947.
Mr. Boucher and the former E. Charlene Lower were married Sept. 14, 1947, at Delightful E. C. Church in Southington by the Revs. C. F. Rissmiller and Norman Zents.
They have four daughters, Colleen (Robert) Cherry of Norfolk, Va., Loretta (Roger) Kittle of Leavittsburg, Jolene (Matthew) Mills of Clyde, Mich., and Renita (Robert) Mintus of Champion.
They also have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A son and two grandsons are deceased.
Mr. Boucher served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from Packard Electric in 1989.
Mrs. Boucher is a homemaker.
Both are active members of Delightful E.C. Church.
Mr. Boucher is a member of Southington American Legion 751, and Mrs. Boucher is a member of the legion’s auxiliary.
The couple enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
In their honor, a family dinner was held and attended by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
