STEUBENVILLE — Kara Lacey and Justin Ewing were united in marriage Sept. 3, 2005, in St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Monsignor George Yontz officiating.
The bride, daughter of Charles and Theresa Lacey of Steubenville, was escorted to the altar by her father.
The groom is the son of Marsha Ewing of St. Clairsville and William Ewing of Indianapolis.
Christy Kamerer served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Susan Lacey, sister-in-law of the bride; Taresa Pierro; Danielle Skipper; Julie Zoellner; Jenifer Ewing, sister of the groom, Cassandra Graham, cousin of the bride; and Kristen Kyle.
James Robert Lewis and Shane Eighme served as best men. Groomsmen were Greg Pifer, Aaron Johnson, Len VanDevelde, Griff Beck, Bobby Paglia and Troy Kyle. Mark Lacey and James Lacey, brothers of the bride, served as ushers.
Kai Lacey, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Following a reception at St. Florian Hall, the couple left for a honeymoon in Punta Canta.
They are making their home in Charlotte, N.C.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Catholic Central High School, a cum laude graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor of psychology degree and received a master’s degree in social work from OSU. She is employed by Carolina Medical Center as a licensed school-based child therapist.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a graduate of Ohio Northern University with a bachelor’s of technology degree. He is employed by Verizon Wireless as a system performance consultant.
