RAYLAND - Mr. and Mrs. Dale L. Hatfield are residing in New Straitsville following their Aug. 28, 2004, marriage. The 4:30 p.m. ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Wilford Simeral at the Hickory Pit Lodge gazebo in Mingo Junction.
Escorted by her parents, Debbie Morrison of New Waverly, Texas, and Steve Link of Bainbridge, Ind., the bride chose an off-white gown with a scalloped hemline accented with sequins and beads.
The groom is the son of Dale and Joyce Hatfield of Rayland.
Sara Roberts of Centerburg was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Harris of St. Clairsville, sister of the groom, and Patti Griffith of Lufkin, Texas.
Matt Carter of Ashland served as best man. Ushers were Devin Benedict of Fairfield and Brian Mishey of Bellville.
Courtney Harris of St. Clairsville, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
Chase Roberts and Coy Smith of Centerburg, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.
A reception was held at the lodge and the couple honeymooned at Mountaineer Race Track and Gaming Resort in Chester.
The bride is a graduate of Springhill High School and is employed at Tractor Supply in Lancaster.
The groom is a graduate of Buckeye North High School and of Hocking College in Nelsonville, where he is employed.
