STEUBENVILLE - Shannon D. Cunningham and Paul C. Hoover were united in marriage Nov. 6, 2004, in the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge in Tallmadge with the Rev. John Schluep officiating for the 2 p.m. nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Diann Jones of Cuyahoga Falls and Richard Cunningham of Tampa, Fla.
The groom is the son of Monte and Paula Hoover Sr. of Steubenville.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and wore a white silk lace over matte satin gown with beading on the bodice and a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of red roses and berries.
The bride's sisters, Jennifer Vassalotti and Jana Weinreich, served as her matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Pam Mighton, sister of the groom, and Missy Brazelton, Joanna Reese, Michelle Huntsman, Brandi Gurin, Danielle Hernandez and Marlo Zaber.
Monte Hoover Jr. served as his brother's best man. Ushers were Mario Costantini, Jimmy Ellis, Ryan Lucas, Brooks Badeaux, Jared Sandberg, Art Mighton, brother-in-law of the groom, and Yale Cunningham, brother of the bride.
Macy Weinreigh, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Nathan and Tyler Vassalotti, nephews of the bride, were the ring bearers.
Following their reception at the SYB Party Center in Stow, the couple honeymooned in Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.
The bride is a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and Kent State University. She is a sales and marketing associate with Ryan Homes.
The groom is a graduate of Steubenville High School and attended Kent State University. He is a professional baseball player with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization.
They are residing in Cuyahoga Falls.
