TORONTO - Judy L. Yeager of Toronto and George W. Shaffer of Reedsville, W.Va., were married at 3 p.m. June 18, 2005, in North River Avenue Church of Christ with Robert Hanze and the Rev. Terry Lucarelli officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the late George and Nen Hughes.
The groom is the son of the late Earl and Pearl Shaffer.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her son, Jeffrey Yeager.
Donna Chesnut of Dunlap, Ill., served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Angel Harris of Reedsville, daughter of the groom; Anita Tucker of Belmont; Abby Bailey of Toronto; and Megan Wolfgang of Follansbee.
Kaylyn Harris, granddaughter of the groom, was flower girl.
Tony Harris of Reedsville, son-in-law of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were John Cox of Morgantown, Tracy Waugh of Bruceton Mills, Ed Cale of Fairmont and Bob Wolfgang of Follansbee.
John Harris, grandson of the groom, was ringbearer.
The bride is a graduate of St. Clairsville High School.
The groom is a graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree in secondary education. He is employed by the Preston County Board of Education.
Following a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple is residing in Reedsville.
