Arco - Mastromichalis
WEIRTON - Andrea Nicole Arco and Michael Harry Mastromichalis were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 4, 2005, in Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Pittsburgh with the Rev. John Chakos officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Samuel and Christina Arco of Charleston. She is a 1997 graduate of George Washington High School and a 2001 summa cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University.
The groom is the son of Gary and Harriet Mastromichalis of Weirton. He is a 1997 graduate of Weir High School and a 2001 summa cum laude graduate of West Virginia Univiersity. In May he graduated with honors from West Virginia University School of Medicine.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her parents.
Cindy Ogrin of New York served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jacqueline Mastromichalis of Weirton, sister of the groom; Elise Agrella of Boston; Carrie Erlewine of Atlanta; Jennifer Mayer of Louisville, Ky.; Alyssa Napoleon of Boston; and Jessica Posner of Washington, D.C. Amalea George, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl.
Vincent Burskey served as the best man. Groomsmen were Lee Arco of St. Louis, brother of the bride; Dr. Mustafa Ahmed of Philadelphia; Len Brown of Atlanta; Pete Dormas of Columbus; and Matt Karnoupakis and Jimmy Mali, both of Morgantown. Michael Anthony Mastromichalis, cousin of the groom, was crown bearer and Will Davis, cousin of the bride, ring- bearer.
A reception followed at Pittsburgh's Cathedral Hall.
The couple honeymooned in the Virgin Islands. They are residing in Charlottsville, Va., where he is a resident physician at the University of Virginia and she is the director of special projects at The Ivy Group Ltd., a marketing communications firm.
