Miller - Tomshack
WEIRTON - Vows exchanged May 21, 2005, before the altar of St. Joseph the Worker Church united Deena Michele Miller and Andrew Jonathan Tomshack in marriage. The Rev. Pete Giannamore officiated for the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Chris and Harold Miller of Weirton.
The groom is the son of Michelle and Jonathan Tomshack of Wellsburg.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown with a scalloped top accented with pearls.
She carried a cascade of white and pink roses, white lilies and pink baby tulips.
Samantha Kirkbride, cousin of the bride, and Nichole Busick, both of Weirton, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Lynn Miller, sister-in-law of the bride, Amanda Kirkbride and Jordan Wells, cousins of the bride, and Karla Sharot, all of Weirton, Annmarie Dorich of Waldorf, Md. and Maura Plesa of Alexandria, Va.
Matthew and Steven Tomshack of Wellsburg served as their brother's best men. Ushers were Jason and Jeff Miller, brothers of the bride, Philip Carroll, all of Weirton, and Evan Davis of Marietta, Ohio.
Flower girls were Hannah Delval and Deavin Miller, nieces of the bride, and Jessica Orris, goddaughter of the bride, all of Weirton.
Elijah Grammer of South Bend, Ind., cousin of the groom, was ring bearer.
Following the reception at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville, the couple took a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, Fla.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Madonna High School and a 2002 graduate of West Liberty State College with a degree in elementary education and a minor in early childhood education. She is a fourth-grade teacher at St. Paul's School in Weirton.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Madonna High School and a 2002 graduate of Hocking College with degrees in timber harvesting and forest management. He is the owner/operator of Tri State Logging and Tree Service.
They are residing at 102 Montgomery Ave.
