Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ray Broemmer of Donnellson, Iowa, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children at 5 p.m. Aug. 25, 2001, in the Community Room at the Pilot Grove Savings Bank in Donnellson.
Sharon Jean Martin and Edward Ray Broemmer were united in marriage on March 12, 1971, at the First Baptist Church in Palmyra.
Attendants were Shirley and Jerry Kolthoff.
Mrs. Broemmer is the daughter of Irma Martin and the late Elmer Martin.
Mr. Broemmer is the son of Marg Broemmer and the late Ted Broemmer.
They are the parents of three children, Dori Wenke of Fort Madison, Iowa, Edward Broemmer of Springfield, Ill., and Leslie Warner of Donnellson.
They have three grandchildren, Heather, Noah and Ashley.
Mr. Broemmer is employed at Scott's in Fort Madison and Mrs. Broemmer is employed at the Donnellson Health Care Center.
They enjoy going to the mountains and fishing.
