Millard and Frances Veatch, rural Palco, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary today with family and friends.
Children of the couple are Jim Veatch and wife, Gina, Chula Vista, Calif., Eileen Parks and husband, Gary, Ellis, and Ron Veatch and wife, Suzanne, Plainville.
The couple have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Millard and Frances Veatch were married June 6, 1940, in Hays.
