Leonard and Shirley Slater
Leonard "Bud" and Shirley Slater, Hays, will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary June 11, 2010.
"Bud" retired from over-the-road driving with Tamko, Phillipsburg, and AIRCO, Otis, in 1995.
The past years he has been a door greeter at Walmart.
Shirley retired from the medical field after 20 years.
Children of the couple are Don Slater and wife, Diana, Trimble, Mo., and Karen Miller and husband, Bill, Grain Valley, Mo.
Leonard "Bud" and Shirley Slater were married June 11, 1955, at Methodist Church, Basin, Wyo.
