The couple celebrated with a trip to Branson, Mo.
Children of the couple are Kevin Karlin and wife, Marti, and Kelly Wasinger and husband, Keith, all of Olathe; and Kimberly Niernberger and husband, Darren, Hays.
The couple have seven grandchildren, Kayla and Macy Karlin, and Kaden and Kaylee Wasinger, all of Olathe; and Justin, Kelsey and Kyler Niernberger, all of Hays.
Gerald and Cynthia Karlin were married May 8, 1965, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.
