Mr. and Mrs. Al Ashmore, Hays, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 4, 2011.
Their children will host a celebration for the couple with family and friends May 28.
Children of the couple are Debra Staab, Diane Nance, Marcia Riggins, Michelle Litton, JoLynn Ashmore and John Ashmore.
The couple has eight grandchildren.
Al and Joyce (Haselhorst) Ashmore were married Feb. 4, 1961, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.
