Children of the couple are Renae Unrein and husband, Lance, and Andrea Braun, all of Wichita, and Jason Braun, Salina.
The couple have two granddaughters, Macy and Miley Unrein, both of Wichita.
Jim Braun and Debbie Mermis were married May 3, 1980, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.
