Don and Phyllis Bloss, Hays, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 20, 2009.

Children and grandchildren of the couple are Jeannine and Chris Lee, Rachael and Alexis Vaughan, Puyallup, Wash., and Marie and Jim Bloss, Brendan, Aaron, Kirsten and Caitlin, McKinney, Texas.

Don and Phyllis Bloss were married on Aug. 20, 1949, in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
