Rye-Brooks
Jennifer Rye of Newnan and Richard Rye of Sharpsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelly Anne, to Glenn Kyle Brooks, son of Connie and Glenn Brooks of Tyrone.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Janice B. Harrod and the late Jack Harrod of Walnut, Calif., and Evangeline Rye and the late Sivert Rye of Tioga, N.D.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mary B. Brooks and the late Gerald R. Brooks of Loris, S.C. and Katherine and Gordon Albright of Americus.
The wedding will be Sept. 16, 2000 at North Fayette United Methodist Church with a reception at Whitewater Country Club.
Following a cruise to the Western Caribbean, the couple will reside in Sharpsburg.
