Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Duane Davis of Rome, announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Heather Davis, to Benjamin Griswold Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Griswold Adams of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mervin Teasley of Ocoee, Tenn., and the late 1st. Sgt. and Mrs. Wilson Roger Davis of Columbus.
She is a 1994 graduate of Rome High School and received a B.A. in psychology from the University of Georgia in 1998.
She is currently employed as the training administrator for the Bank of North Georgia in Alpharetta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Anne Peyton Adams and the late Pierrepont Adams of Darien, Conn., and the late Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence MacColl Horton, also of Darien.
He is a 1994 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and attended Georgia Southern University and DeKalb College.
He is employed as a systems engineer for F5 Networks, Inc.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at Darlington Chapel.
A reception will follow at Coosa Country Club in Rome.
