Murphy-Lehman
Ms. Alice Murphy of Peachtree City and Crawford Murphy of Asheville, N.C., announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Margaret Murphy, to David Charles Lehman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lehman, also of Peachtree City.
The wedding was May 13, 2000, at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Clay Jacobs performed the ceremony.
Escorted by her father, the bride was given in marriage by her father and mother. She wore a strapless gown of silk and satin with crystals and pearls along the neckline and hemline.
She carried a bouquet of cream Virginia roses, purple and white lisianthisis and greenery wrapped in white ribbon.
Instrumental music was provided by Ms. Alice Griffith, pianist, and Mrs. Mary Motley, organist.
William Suit performed a vocal solo.
The bride was attended by her schoolmate and life long friend, Mary Jo Holder, maid of honor, and bridesmaids Leigh Ann McGrady, Michelle Binkley, Trischa Bode, and her niece, Brandt Murphy.
Chuck Lehman, father of the groom, was best man. Other groomsmen were Geoff Carroll, Kim McGrady, Robert Campbell, and Tim Murphy, brother of the bride.
Guests were ushered by Brian Murphy and Kenneth Murphy, also brothers of the bride.
Nancy Cumberworth, aunt of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a buffet reception was held at the Green Manor Restaurant in Union City.
Music was provided by “Where’s Charlie,” a local band.
Following their honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, the couple now resides Peachtree City.
