Steve and Dixon Bryant of Fayette County announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Shelby Anne Bryant, to Corey J. Oates, son of Albert and Hazel Oates of Snellville.
The bride-to-be will graduate from the University of Georgia in May.
The groom-elect is in the U.S. Navy Honors Guard in Washington, D.C.
The wedding will be June 16, 2001, at the Pinehurst Tearoom in Stockbridge.
A reception will follow the ceremony.
