Durden-Reid
Rod and Patricia Moore of Sharpsburg, and Randy Gaylor of Jackson, announce the marriage of their daughter, Jacqueline Marie Durden, to Troy Adam Reid, son of Danny Reid and Rose Mary Reid of Tyrone. The wedding was July 7, 2000 in the garden of the Reid home in Tyrone. Greg Mallet officiated at the ceremony.
A program of nuptial music was presented by Cathy Zimmer, Sandra and Luis Gonzolez and Jacque Reid. Steve Gillis, Jimmy Karol and Greg Mace lighted the candles.
Darla Barrett ¬of Jonesboro was the maid of honor. Other attendants were Jennifer Moore and Lynnette Gaylor of Sharpsburg, Hannah Durden and Victoria Durden of Peachtree City, Brianna Gaylor of Marietta, and Tymber Reid of Tyrone. They wore mauve floral dresses and carried bouquets of roses and tiger lilies.
The groom's attendants were Randy Gene Gaylor of Marietta, John Pendergrass and Steve Gillis of Tyrone, and Jimmy Karol of Fayetteville. Trent Reid of Tyrone, son of the groom, served as best man.
The bride was escorted by her father, Randy Gaylor, and her stepfather, Rod Moore. She wore a Michaelangelo satin gown with a bodice embellished with sequins and pearls. The back featured crossed straps and satin roses. She carried a bouquet of roses and tiger lilies.
Following the ceremony, the couple was honored at a reception in Tyrone hosted by Sandy Dow.
Mr. and Mrs. Reid honeymooned in Panama City, Fla. and now reside in Tyrone.
