Peddicord - Cousins
Kimberly Ann Peddicord, daughter of retired Lt. Col and Mrs. Craig E. Peddicord of Fayetteville, and James David Cousins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cousins of Gaithersburg, Md., were married on July 29, 2000, at the Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church in Atlanta.
The bride is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is a recreational therapist at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur.
The groom also is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is a financial analyst at KPMG in Atlanta.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal white sleeveless gown with chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of white roses with cascading greenery.
Sarah Williams of Flowery Branch was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katy and Jennifer Mclaughlin, sisters of the bride, and Cathy Campbell, sister of the groom. Other bridesmaids were Kristin Dodds, Courtney Clark, Melody Maner, and Diana Bortoluzzi.
The best man was Ryan Hipp of Gaithersburg, Md. Groomsmen were Matthew Peddicord, brother of the bride, and Robert and John Cousins, brothers of the groom. Other groomsmen were Ned Biehler, Eric Dennis, David Sicard, and David Walker.
Out-of-town guests included the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Peddicord, of Pottsboro, Texas.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Ft. McPherson Officer's Club. Music was provided by Complete Music of Atlanta. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Friday at Maggiano's in Buckhead. The bride and her mother hosted a bridesmaid's luncheon in Fayetteville Friday afternoon.
The newlyweds honeymooned in St. Lucia, and now reside in Atlanta.
