Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Donald Deters of Hannibal will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children and sister-in-law, Mary Glance, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at the home of Wendell and Mary Glance, 8276 White Bear Road, Hannibal.
Nancy Carol Richards and Frederick Donald Deters were united in marriage on Jan. 3, 1976, at the First Assembly of God Church in Hannibal.
The Rev. Vanwinkle officiated.
Attendants were Don Baker, cousin of the bridegroom, and Sharon Lucas, sister of the bride.
Mrs. Deters is the daughter of the late Robert and Eldora Richards.
Mr. Deters is the son of the late Frederick Bernard Deters and Irene Inez Deters.
They are the parents of two children, Frederick Donald Deters II and Carol Renee DeCamp, both of Hannibal.
Mrs. Deters is employed at Luther Manor.
Mr. Deters is a retired photographer.
He had also taught at Hannibal Vo-Tech School for five years and had served as secretary and bookkeeper at the First Assembly of God Church.
Friends and relatives are invited to the reception. They request no gifts.
