Higdon - Jones
Gerald and Patsy Higdon of Odessa celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 8, 2007 at Mission Dorado Baptist Church Fellowship Hall hosted by their children, family and friends.
Patsy Jones married her husband Sept. 6, 1957, the home of the Rev. Richard Philpot, who officiated the wedding.
The couple have four children: Gerald “Jerry” Higdon Jr. of Houston, Danny Higdon of Odessa, Kathy Kelly of Little Elm and Rebecca Burr of Hickory Creek.
They have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Gerald Higdon was owner and operator of Higdon Masonry for 14 years after working for C.W. Oates for 16 years.
Patsy Higdon is a homemaker.
