Eddingfield - 60th
Mr. and Mrs. Don Eddingfield of Hull, Ill., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at the United Baptist Church in Kinderhook, Ill.
Mrs. Eddingfield is the daughter of the late Lou and Ethel Elder.
Mr. Eddingfield is the son of the late Loren and Golda Eddingfield.
Vera Jean Elder and Donald Ray Eddingfield were united in marriage on Jan. 10, 1942, at the Calvary Baptist Church parsonage in Hannibal.
The Rev. J.V. Carlisle officiated.
Attendants were Francis Campbell and Charles Pryor.
They are the parents of two children, Sue Moore and Rick Eddingfield, both of Hull.
They have four grandchildren, Jason Moore of Thompson, Doug Eddingfield of Hull, Julie Moore of Paris and Jamie Hall of Hannibal; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddingfield have lived all their married life in the Hull area.
Mr. Eddingfield had been farming the family farm since 1943 and retired in 1993.
They enjoy spending time with their great-grandchildren.
Both are members of the United Baptist Church of Hull/Kinderhook.
