Former Sikeston couple mark wedding milestone

SPRINGFIELD — Dr. and Mrs. John L. Doggett, formerly of Sikeston, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary during two events held Aug. 18 and 19 at Creekside at Elfindale.

Doggett and the former Mary Wallis were married Aug. 18, 1946, at Centenary Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
