Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bland of Vandalia will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at the Family Life Center on Highway 54 and Lindell in Vandalia.
Alta Pettey and Robert Bland were united in marriage on Jan. 28, 1945, at Eolia Methodist Church in Eolia.
Mrs. Bland is the daughter of the late Taylor and Emma Pettey.
Mr. Bland is the son of the late Aubrey and Roberta Bland.
Friends and relatives are invited to the reception.
