Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weber of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Michelle, to Lee Patrick McDermott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo McDermott of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a M.Ed. and Ed.S. degree in Counseling and Guidance.
She is currently employed as a guidance counselor at Fayette County High School.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Communications.
He obtained his teaching certification at the State University of West Georgia.
He currently is a special education teacher at Rising Starr Middle School.
Beginning in August, he will teach history and serve as the local head baseball coach at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 17, 2000, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City.
The reception will be held at Whitewater Country Club in Fayetteville.
