Rev. and Mrs. Charles Petty of Lavonia announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Renee Petty, to 2Lt. Matthew Jason Barbour, son of Maj. (Ret.) and Mrs. William Barbour of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of North Georgia College and State University with a bachelor's degree in History.
The groom-elect is a 1995 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 1999 graduate of North Georgia College and State University with a bachelor's degree i French.
He received his commission as a 2Lt. in the United States Army (Aviation Branch) upon graduation.
The wedding will be June 3, 2000, at First Baptist Church in Peachtree City.
The couple will reside at Ft. Rucker, Ala., where Lt. Barbour is attending helicopter flight training.
