Elmore And Emfinger To Be Wed On October 9th
Mr. and Mrs. Billy Elmore of Thomson, Georgia and Mr. and Mrs. A. David Emfinger, Sr. of Warm Springs, Georgia are proud to announce the forthcoming marriage of their children, Shannon Leigh and Alvin David Emfinger, Jr.
Shannon is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Elmore of Powder Springs, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. DeVere B. Dobson of Interlachen, Florida.
She is a 1997 graduate of Thomson High School and is currently attending Augusta Technical Institute where she will graduate in October as a Medical Assistant.
David is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin A. Emfinger of LaGrange, Georgia and the late Mrs. Mary V. Emfinger and Mrs. Billie Walters and the late Mr. Floyd Walters, all of Manchester, Georgia.
He is a 1997 graduate of Harris County High School and is currently employed by American Custom Builders of Warm Springs, Georgia.
The wedding will take place October 9, 1999 at the First Baptist Church of Thomson at 2:00 PM. All friends of the bride and groom are invited to attend.
A reception will follow at the Thomson Country Club.
Following their honeymoon in Daytona Beach, Florida, the couple will make their home in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
