Capece-Smith
Kimberly L. Capece, daughter of Linda S. Capece-Morley of Johnstown and Louis Capece Jr. of Windermere, Fla., was united in marriate to Kenneth A. Smith, son of Gary Smith of Longwood, Fla. and Sandra Smith of Altamonte Springs, Fla. on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000.
The ceremony took place at Christ Church Unity in Orlando, Fla. The Rev. Phil Schlaefer officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Maid of honor was Lauren Capece of Fort Plain, sister of the bride. Bridal attendants were Laura Manuele of Bayshore, N.Y., and Kelly Butt of Richmond, Va.
Best man was Kevin Smith of Richmond, Va., brother of the groom. Ushers were Lt. Anthony M. Capece of Pensacola, Fla., and Nick Capece of Lakeland, Fla., brothers of the bride.
A reception was held at the Citrus Club in Orlando.
The couple took a honeymoon to Las Vegas. They live in Windermere.
The bride graduated from Fort Plain Central School in 1990; St. Bonaventure University in 1994 and Boston University with a master's degree in criminal justice in 1996. She is currently a high school instructor at the Silver Star Center in Orlando.
The groom is a graduate of Lyman High School, Longwood, Fla., and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers apprenticeship program. He is an electrician with GES Exposition Services in Orlando.
