POLLET-MULLIGAN
SHERIDAN -- The Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan was the setting at 3 p.m. Aug. 14, 2004 for the wedding of Holly L. Mulligan and Brandon Michael Pollet. The Rev. Clint Ritchie officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Mulligan of Sheridan. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Letterman of West Monroe, La., and Nell Mulligan of Camden and the late William H. Mulligan.
The bridegroom is the son of Woodie and Judy Pollet of Lutcher, La. He is the grandson of Margie Pollet of Paulina, La., and the late Amilcar Pollet and the late Numa and Olga Guidry.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by vocalist and pianist Beth Jones and vocalist Dusty Denney. Shannon Watson and Michael Watson accompanied on trumpet.
The flower girls were Madison Neil and Marly Wink.
Joshua Mulligan was the ringbearer.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line gown in rum pink satin, fashioned with a strapless bodice patterned with pearls and beads. The chiffon train was also accented with pearls and beads.
Her shoulder-length veil was secured with a headpiece adorned with pearls.
She carried a bouquet of pink and ivory roses.
The bride's jewelry was a pearl necklace and pearl earrings.
Lindsey Stanton was the matron of honor.
The bridesmaids were Crystal Williams, Lisa Johnson, Tracy Denney and Stacey Neill.
Brian Gill was the best man.
The ushers were Carroll Weichers and Sam Mulligan.
Kirk Zeringue, Sean Martinez, Will Mulligan and John Neill were the groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Harbor Oaks Golf Club at Pine Bluff.
Mary Nell Ives kept the bride's book.
Ian Feazel distributed bubbles.
Other members of the house party were Mandy McElroy and Christen Webb.
After a wedding trip to Napa Valley, Calif., the couple is at home at White Hall.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Aug. 13 in the fellowship hall of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
