Kizzy Amos and James "Jamie" Bass were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 26, 2004 at Deeper Revelation International Ministry at Pine Bluff. Bishop D. Dewayne Rudd officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry Amos and Christine Amos Dawson, both of Pine Bluff. Her grandparents are the Rev. Sylvia White of Pine Bluff and Ruby Amos of Helena.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bass of Pine Bluff.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by Harold Wade, musician, and Shatara Amos, Trinia Johnson and James Maxwell, all vocalists.
Brittney Bass, Tiera Bass, Tatyana Early and Samiaya Walker were the flower girls.
The ringbearer was Jalen Bass, son of the bride and bridegroom.
The candlelighters were Rodney Holcomb and Tyren White.
Amiri Amos, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.
The bridesmaids were Shartara Amos, Rashonda Benson, Stephanie Cogshell, Ericka Johnson, Tammy Johnson, Trinia Johnson, Shelia Oliver and LaTasha Savage.
Keith Bass, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man.
The groomsmen were Omarr Amos, Justin Bass, Keith Brown, Dameyon Hopkins, Donte Hopkins, Makeiko Morgan, Basil Shabazz and Marcus Toney.
The ushers were Quartney Amos, Kyra Bass, Victoria Dawson, Marcus Hopkins and Osric Johnson.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at Deeper Revelation International Ministry.
The guest book was kept by Priscilla Lewis and Shelia Johnson.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner June 25 at the Cedar Cabin at Pine Bluff.
