Announcement dated August 31, 2004
Michelle Lea Abrams and Loren Ray Oliver were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church at Pine Bluff. The Rev. Gordon Topping officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Lea Abrams of Pine Bluff. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Myron Louis Abrams of Pine Bluff and the late Mr. and Mrs. Garland Wilson Murphy of Winchester (Drew County).
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Ray Oliver of Stuttgart. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Rhett Oliphant and Mrs. Donald Oliver, all of Stuttgart, and the late William Donald Oliver.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by William Fox, organist; Matt Soto, soloist; Cynthia Carrel, trumpeter; and Carrie Collins, violinist.
Hannah Lee Oliver, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of candlelight silk organza and imported re-embroidered Alencon lace. The strapless basque bodice of silk organza topped an A-line silk organza skirt, which swept into a full court train. Alencon lace appliques, hand-touched with pearls and crystals, accented the skirt.
Her heirloom veil of Brussels lace extended the full length of the train.
She carried a hand-held bouquet of white Virginia roses, off-white spray roses, Queen Anne's lace and white lizanthus.
Babette Abrams Wardlaw, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor.
Jessica Myer Ayecock, Rachel Nanette Cook, Katherine Amanda Crain, Ashley Adams Heiple, Brooke Howard Harper, Lindsey Kathryn Howard, Erin Lee Oliver, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and Miriam Joyce Solomon, cousin of the bride, were the bridesmaids.
The junior bridesmaids were Day Elizabeth Davis, Annsley Jane Davis and Taylor Bradley Day.
The bridal attendants wore identical, floor-length gowns of kiwi green douppioni silk. The strapless bodices were worn over slender, A-line skirts. They carried hand-held bouquets of orange tulips, lavender sweetpeas, hot pink tulips, green viburnum, dark purple aneomes, roses and Bells of Ireland.
The bridegroom's father and brother, Lane Bradley Oliver, were the best men.
The ushers were John Morgan Butler, Timothy George Graham II, John Mason Lowry, Lloyd Calhoun Meeks and Charles Landon Myers.
John Mason Bennett, Jacob Nolan Butler, David Lowell Erstine, Kortney Kenneth Gray, cousin of the bridegroom, Jordan Patterson Johnson, Jason Reed Parker, Randall Jay Snider Jr. and Jonathan David Wardlaw, brother-in-law of the bride, were the groomsmen.
The junior groomsman was Clay Bradley Day.
After the ceremony, a reception was held in the Pine Bluff Country Club.
The bride's book and program attendants were Fara Lea Free, Angie Staley Johnson, Ashley Tucker Parker and Emily Bowman Stein.
Madalyn Marie Day, Leah Olivia Day, Bayley Hannah Elenzweig, Alexi Tess Elenzweig, Madison Kate Gee and Marin Elizabeth Selig distributed rice bags.
After a wedding trip to Key West, Fla., the couple will be at home at Fayetteville.
