YELLVILLE -- Amy Larissa Moreau and John Jeremy Carter were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. June 26, 2004 at New Hope Baptist Church at Yellville (Marion County). The Rev. Kenny Hardin of Conway officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Billy and Mary Moreau of Yellville. Her grandparents are Vernon and Sue Moreau and Marvin and Billie Robertson, all of Yellville.
The bridegroom is the son of Wayne and Kay Carter of White Hall. His grandparents are Juanita Carter of White Hall and the late Joe Carter and John and Floy Moody of Bryant (Saline County).
A program of nuptial music was presented by Ann Brigham of Dumas, aunt of the bridegroom, organist; and Philip Ward of Ozark, Mo., cousin of the bridegroom, soloist.
Haley Walls of Mount Vernon (Faulkner County) was the flower girl.
The ringbearer was Dalton Robinson of Yellville.
Trey Brigham of White Hall, cousin of the bridegroom, was the candlelighter and greeter.
Amber Seratt of Bryant kept the bride's book.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of white bridal satin featuring an off-the-shoulder bodice designed with cap sleeves. The empire waist was accented with lace and pearl beading extending into an A-line skirt that flowed into a chapel-length train.
Her elbow-length veil of tulle was secured by a Josephina tiara accented with baby's breath.
She carried long-stemmed, fresh purple roses and baby's breath tied with silver ribbon.
Jenn Robinson of Yellville, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor.
The bridesmaids were Jennifer See of Conway and Amy Walls of Mount Vernon.
The attendants wore two-piece, floor-length dresses of mauve. They wore baby's breath in their hair.
Shaun Hartsfield of Jefferson was the best man.
The bridegroom's father and Jody Carter, the bridegroom's brother, were the ushers and groomsmen.
After the ceremony, a catfish/chicken buffet dinner was held in the Buffalo Point Pavilion on the Buffalo National River at Yellville.
Jennifer Luke and Marsha Smith, both of White Hall, assisted with serving.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple is at home at Conway.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner June 25 in the Buffalo Point Pavilion.
