Shatoria Denetria Aytch and Roderick Lavell Daniels were united in marriage at 6 p.m. July 24, 2004 at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Rickey Parks officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Aytch of Pine Bluff. Her grandparents are Azzilee Parks of Pine Bluff and the late Chester Parks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Mack Aytch.
The bridegroom is the son of Regina Colbert of Pine Bluff. His grandparents are Lucille Colbert of Pine Bluff and the late Joe Daniels and Maggie Jefferson, also of Pine Bluff, and the late Calvin Jefferson Jr.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by Justin Williams and Celeste Alexander.
D'Ayra Parks, Destiny Kilgore and Reonnika Kilgore were the flower girls.
The ringbearer was Lekalon Parks.
The Biblebearer was Ariston Parks.
The broombearers were Vincent Tyler and Meikel Dudley.
The ushers and aisle runners were Brennan Wells, Tavanta Calhoun, Akeemeon Parks and Marc Carlock.
Shaneka Daniels and Michele Cartwright, both sisters of the bridegroom, were the candlelighters.
Escorted by her parents and her brother, Brandon Aytch, the bride wore a strapless gown of candlelight embellished with ivory seed pearls and rhinestones on the bodice, which flowed into an A-line skirt, accented with seed pearls in the center and around the bottom of the gown.
A tiara of seed pearls and rhinestones secured her veil of candlelight tulle.
She carried a bouquet of white roses and baby's breath.
The bride's jewelry was a pearl-and-rhinestone choker and princess-cut diamond earrings, belonging to her mother.
The maid of honor was Alisha Dowd, cousin of the bride.
The bridesmaids were Celeste Alexander, Shanatay Carroll, Lashonda Colbert, sister of the bridegroom, Melba May, Nicole Pugh and Jestin Thomas.
The bridal attendants wore strapless gowns with platinum bodices and straight, navy blue skirts with matching shawls. They wore rhinestone jewelry.
Rudolph Morgan was the best man.
The groomsmen were Brandon Aytch, brother of the bride; John Cartwright and Joseph Cartwright, both brothers of the bridegroom; Barry Daniels; Shaun McGhee; and Jonathan Riggins.
Targie Crumpton kept the bride's book.
Shayla Berry, Kanekalon Kindle and Jade Sanders distributed programs and bubbles.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at Harbor Oaks Golf Club at the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park.
After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple is at home at Fayetteville, N.C.
The bridegroom's mother hosted a rehearsal dinner July 23 at Ynot Jazz and Blues Inc. at Pine Bluff.
