MONTICELLO -- Brittany Faith Hooks of Monticello and Timothy Alan Knowles of Rison exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. May 29, 2004 at Pauline Baptist Church at Monticello. The Rev. Robert Leonard officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Harwood Hooks of Monticello. Her grandparents are Eunice Owen of Pine Bluff and the late Virgil Owen and Melrose Hooks of Greenwood (Sebastian County) and the late Johnnie Bob Hooks.
The bridegroom's parents are Cade and Glenna Knowles of Rison. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wright of the Pansy community (Cleveland County) and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cade Carter Knowles of Rison.
Kelli Montgomery kept the bride's book.
Amber Holland and Karen Hyatt distributed programs.
The flower girls were Sarah Knowles and Tiffany Knowles, both of Bradford (White County) and both nieces of the bridegroom.
A program of wedding music was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Burchfield and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Tucker and Kelli Montgomery, Brad Hollis and Glen Knowles, all vocalists.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a designer gown fashioned with a strapless bodice with a modified square neckline enhanced with a band of bugle beads, pearls and crystals. The gown had a fitted bodice embellished in a floral pattern with a basque waistline. The bouffant princess, A-line skirt flowed into a chapel train.
She wore a cathedral-length veil.
She carried an all-white bouquet of calla lilies, roses, tulips, snapdragons, stock, freesia, larkspurs, Casablanca lilies and eucalyptus.
The bride's jewelry was her mother's diamond earrings.
Tara Hooks Spegar of Chicago, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor.
The bridesmaids were Amy Rushing of Bryant (Saline County), Laine Bowman of McGehee and Sara Hooks of Camden, cousin of the bride.
The attendants wore matching two-piece, strapless gowns of soft celadon green European satin featuring caviar beading at the bodices. Their bouquets were smaller versions of the bride's.
Dr. Glen Knowles of Bradford, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man.
Greg Montgomery, Josh Wright, Drew Wilkerson and James Hartshorn were the ushers.
The groomsmen were Doug Wilkerson of Monroe, La., cousin of the bride; Layne Reed of Rison; and Bradley Hudson of Benton, nephew of the bridegroom.
After the ceremony, a candlelight, garden reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.

After a wedding trip to Big Cedar Lodge at Ridgedale, Mo., the couple will be at home at Columbia, Mo., where the bride is a registered nurse at Boone Hospital Center, and the bridegroom is an auto claims representative with State Farm Insurance.
The bridegroom's parents were the hosts for a rehearsal dinner May 28 in the dining room of the Pauline Baptist Church.
